    1. Peer Community (We are all in the same boat. We know what you're going through)
    2. Success Teams (We help each other)
    3. Something worthwhile to do (fill that gap in your resume with meaningfull volunteering)
  3. Networking
    1. Guest Speakers with pertinent information
    2. Face to face contacts with employers and contacts in your industry
    3. Professional level social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  4. Resource center
    1. Job listings for this region
    2. Reference & Wiki library (Work in progress)
    3. Access to computer, copier and fax for job hunting purposes.

Where are the job-seekers going?

  • Low-end, get-by jobs
  • Contract and consulting self-employment
  • Training (WIA, Assets, self-sponsored)

  • Hidden jobs - found almost exclusively through networking/research
