Successful Through Empowerment

The self-empowerment approach to cutting through unemployment, depression, and despair.

Unemployment puts us to the test: financially, emotionally and attitudinally. And while there are resume-writing, networking, interviewing classes and more, we don't have classes that teach us how to endure, how to obtain and use new outlooks that will support us when we are frightened or down, and how to treat ourselves and our situation with kindness

Bio:

Lori Kirstein is an actor, speaker, singer, writer and talk radio show host whose show - Living Out Loud: Empowerment Without Apology - is a ground-breaking, truth-telling, laughter-provoking, empowerment-affirming kick in the teeth to "Woundology".

A 30-year corporate support professional, Lori successfully used two years of "unemployment" to redefine her goals, "up" her self-empowerment quotient, and eliminate the panic and depression that used to bring her to her knees. Lori is also a professional actor, and as such, is professionally unemployed most of the time.
Her presentation helps to teach us about perspectives, the power of self-care, the emotional aids, and the latent unexplored possibilities in unemployment that we can use to keep our options open, the unexpected possibilities flowing in, and ourselves in motion with our emotions so that instead of drowning in them we ride them like a wave, and keep moving forward in anticipation as we are carried to the next places in our lives.

Lori's talks and workshops use acting, singing and the power of group interaction to find individual answers. She is available for Talks, Workshops, Empowerment Coaching and Actor Coaching.
