- Find a vision for your job search – filled with clarity about your purpose and leading to an effective action plan;
- Operate so you make the best use of technology, social media or other strategies, while keeping them in their place so they don’t overwhelm you;
- Stay motivated through stressful, burnout-prone situations so you are more relaxed and more attractive to employers.
Pat McHenry Sullivan, founder of Visionary Resources, helps individuals and small companies focus and build visions that are alive with integrity, purpose and joy. Her master’s thesis at Holy Names University shows how people either block, distort or develop their natural visionary potentials.
Pat is the author of the book, Work with Meaning, Work with Joy, in which she offers practical tips and resources on how to replace stress and burnout at work with integrity, purpose and joy. She has also authored 26 columns on meaningful work for the San Francisco Chronicle, and hundreds of articles in the field for the American Bar Association, Workforce Management magazine, and many others.
