The Search For Work That Will Create Revenue In 2011
It's been said that change is the only constant in the universe. These changes seem to be coming about at an ever increasing rate and a prime example of this might be changes in the labor market. As things change in the employment world, so must the techniques and approaches to becoming successfully re-employed change as well.
Consider the possibility that full time singular employment is decreasing as trends in the labor market continue to shift. By the year 2014 (which isn't far off at all!), there will be a significant drop in single full time positions.
Now is the time for job seekers to broaden the parameters of their approach to finding employment and to consider alternative means of finding work. To that end, certified career and life coach Randy Block will be the guest speaker for September 30th. Randy's topic will be "What Is Working Today For People in Job Transition To Create Revenue". In alignment with our workshop module of reassessing your marketable skills, Randy will address how those skills can translate to additional streams of revenue, while using those opportunities to gain information about industries not previously considered, and increasing your professional network.
Randy brings a wealth of information and the certifications to back it up. In additon to a B.S. degree in Marketing and Business from Cornell University, Randy holds an IJCTC (International Job and Career Transition Coach), a CCMC (Certified Carrer Management Coach), a PCRC (Professional Certified Retirement Coach), and is a certife4d counselor for the "Now What" Life BluePrint Program; a 90 day program designed to help those in transition obtain clarity and a life direction.
Most recently, Randy's specialty has been helping executives over the age of 50 find meaningful work through contract, part time, and full time positions. While this may not be a topic for those singularly pursuing a full time position, it's vital information to incorporate into your perspective of how to find work via multiple avenues.
